About Me

For over a decade I’ve been talking and listening to tens of thousands of Canberrans as  breakfast announcer on Mix106.3.  In that time I’ve listened and been a trusted confidante on the views, aspirations and the hopes of the people of Canberra. Having felt the pulse on all sorts of issues affecting this town for over a decade, I’m known for speaking out about the things that matter and backing initiatives that involve the community.

My family and I have live in the Ginninderra electorate since 1999. Our two youngest children were born at Calvary Hospital and they go to Kaleen Primary School.  The older two are still living at home but working in the hospitality sector in Canberra.

I’ve coached junior football for the Belconnen Junior Australian Football Club for eight years and been a member of the Junior Operations Committee for AFL Canberra. I’m a patron of the Make a Wish Foundation (ACT Branch) and have been on the board of the Pegasus Foundation.

I stand for families, I stand for community.  I want this city to be a sustainable, prosperous community so that my children and hopefully their children can proudly call it home.  I’m for common sense in Government and for supporting people who’ve got the courage to put their neck on the line and have a go.  We need to think green, but we need to do it in a practical common sense way and I want to foster that approach in our community.

I stand for openness and honesty in Government and for solutions that are not shaped by party politics.

My party is Ginninderra.
